Regional and City Holidays

  1. The holiday calendar above includes nationwide official holidays. In addition, each region and city has its own specific holidays. For details, please refer to the government’s official website below.

Sources of Nationwide Holiday Information

  1. Nationwide Official Holidays (Philippine Government Official Website)
    NATIONWIDE HOLIDAYS (Official Gazette)
  2. The holiday schedule for 2025 was announced through a presidential proclamation on October 30, 2024.
    Proclamation No. 727, s. 2024
The dates for Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, based on the Islamic calendar, will be announced at a later date.

Notes

  1. In the Philippines, the government usually announces the holiday schedule for the following year in the latter half of the current year. However, changes or additions are often made through presidential proclamations, sometimes even right before the holiday, or in some cases, the day before.
  2. The dates of holidays related to Islam are determined by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) based on the Islamic calendar. Therefore, the announcement of these holidays is usually later (and sometimes the announced dates may still be further adjusted).
