May 1–5 Labour Day Make-Up Work Days: April 28, May 11
June 8–10 Dragon Boat Festival
September 15–17 Mid-Autumn Festival Make-Up Work Day: September 14
October 1–7 National Day Make-Up Work Days: September 29, October 12
Holidays for Specific Groups
Holidays and Commemorative Days for Specific Groups (National Public Holidays and Commemorative Days Regulation Article 3)
- (1) Women's Day (March 8) - Women have a half-day off
- (2) Youth Day (May 4) - Youth aged 14 to 28 have a half-day off
- (3) Children's Day (June 1) - Children under 14 have one day off
- (4) PLA Founding Day (August 1) - Active military personnel have a half-day off
If a holiday for specific groups falls on a Saturday or Sunday, there will be no additional day off.
