- If Seollal or Chuseok holidays fall on a Sunday, they are observed on the following weekday.
- If Independence Day, Children's Day, Buddha's Birthday, Liberation Day, National Foundation Day, Hangeul Proclamation Day or Christmas Day fall on a Saturday or Sunday, they are observed on the following weekday.
- For other holidays, there are no substitute holidays observed.
