  1. There are no substitute holiday for public holidays that fall on weekends.
  2. In France, there are 11 statutory holidays established by labor law. Additionally, Alsace-Moselle region has two additional holidays due to historical reasons (Good Friday and Boxing Day), bringing the total to 13 annually.
